报告题目： Lexical Knowledge Bases
摘要：The importance of knowledge base in search and other applications is well understood. However, the difference between a knowledge base as an encyclopedia and a knowledge base as a mind lexicon is not fully appreciated.
Understanding the difference will enable us to be more targeted in building knowledge bases. This talk aims at presenting a comprehensive overview of knowledge graph representation, acquisition, and reasoning, especially those concerning text.
讲者介绍：Haixun Wang is a Research Scientist at Google Research. Before joining Google in 2013, he was with Microsoft Research Asia in Beijing, China where he leads research in semantic search, graph data processing systems, and distributed query processing. He was a research staff member at IBM T. J. Watson Research Center from 2000 to 2009. He received the Ph.D. degree in computer science from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2000. He has published more than 120 research papers in referred international journals and conference proceedings. He got the ICDM 10-Year Highest Impact Paper Award in 2014, ER 2008 best paper award (DKE 25 year award), and ICDM 2009 Best Student Paper run-up award.
