The purpose of web of data is not only to put on a website a set of data
and to make it available, but to create around this data an environment
able to give relationships among it with different contexts, with others
sources of information and others data sets.
As part of the spatio-temporal data, a number of standards from OGC
(Open Geospatial Consortium) and W3C emerge (RDF, OWL, SPARQL and
GeoSPARL) and contribute with generic ontologies to give semantic to
data and enriching data sets. These principles will be presented through
an example on linked data publication about water resources management
in Canada North Territories.
